Brain Machine Interface (BMI): Uploading human consciousness to the robot's brain
The research projects of (1) consciousness-driven biocomputers and (2) key vise and brain-machine interface BMILSI, which the Institute for Artificial Evolution (AERI) is conducting basic research, are promoting some interesting sub-projects.
Below, I would like to introduce one of the above sub-projects, the Immortality and Longevity Project.
[Immortality Project]
An android project that transplants human consciousness to robots and immortals them. Aim for realization within 10 years.
In Japan, where super-aging continues, most of the people who yearn for fairy tales such as immortality and longevity disappear and wish to die when the right time comes. That's very good for most commoners.
However, I think that the technique of immortality and longevity should be given to rare human beings with high value, which is considered to be a loss of humankind if they die.
Darwin's evolutionary theory is that human genes are optimized to live and eventually die while experiencing age-appropriate physical changes. Of course, if the body is destroyed, the mind and consciousness will disappear at the same time.
Human beings are physically old through life experiences, and in the process, their wisdom is matured, and they die when they think that they have fully enjoyed their lives.
The Institute for Artificial Evolution (AERI) is conducting basic research on the technology of immortality and longevity, which can be said to be an unexplored area for humankind, such as breaking away from Darwin's theory of evolution.
Specifically, we are challenging the technology of immortality and longevity that allows us to live forever in cyberspace by preserving the brain and transferring and transplanting its consciousness to robots.
The technology of immortality and longevity enables human beings to break away from the theory of evolution bound by Darwin's biological constraints and design the path of spiritual evolution to the desired evolutionary form.
If the Immortality Project is successful, it will be possible to advance the new evolution of Darwin in line with the challenging, strategic, and innovative evolutionary theories decided by humans. You can get an evolutionary revolution that allows you to systematically and strategically advance your own evolutionary path and speed.
If the immortality and longevity project is successful, it will prevent the runaway of welfare for the elderly and medical care for the elderly due to the super-aging that is dragging Japan to the path of exile, and the elderly who are devouring more than 60 trillion yen, which exceeds 50% of the national budget. This time, we have succeeded in research and development of BMI / BMC (Brain Machine Interface / Brain Computer Interface) theory and neural connection LSI (semiconductor integrated circuit), which are the basic fields of biocomputer research.
Below is an overview.
1. 1. The prototype of BMI / BMC device (LSI) has already been completed. The number of nerve connections and controls in the proto is 100 M neurons (number of nerve connections = 100 million neurons).
2. BMI / BMC devices (LSIs) basically target only the human brain. All parts other than Noh (mainly human body parts) are worthless and can be discarded.

13. This time, we will search for psychic phenomena as a typical phenomenon in which the human brain malfunctions. There is a task to investigate how psychic phenomena occur in the brain at the consciousness level and what kind of EEG firing patterns are generated.

１．単一プログラム逐次処理（Sequential Computing）型のノイマン型コンピューター（電子計算機）を含め、複数プログラム並列処理（Parallel Computing）型の脳の、神経細胞を疑似的に摸したニューロコンピューターや量子力学の原理を応用する量子コンピューターなどの非ノイマン型コンピューター（電子計算機）も全て、ビット長単位で論理計算を行うものでは、人間の意識的な活動（意思・意欲や思考、知性、心など）はシミュレーションすることさえ原理的に不可能だ。
２．Ｑｕａｎｔｕｍ Ｂｒａｉｎ（量子脳）を実現するＢＭＩＶＬＳＩ搭載意識駆動型バイオコンピューターは、第６世代コンピューターの代表であり、そののメイン機能である『意識的な思考』は、人間の脳の意識的な思考そのものだ。
ノイマン型コンピューター及び非ノイマン型コンピューターといった計算機ではまったくできない『本物の知能』といえる。
かつ、ＢＭＩＶＬＳＩ搭載意識駆動型バイオコンピューターは、人間用の生物と異なって寿命、死は存在しない。
このため、『永久・永遠の知能』、『不死の知能』ともいえる。
３．しかし、ＢＭＩＶＬＳＩ搭載意識駆動型バイオコンピューターは、Ｑｕａｎｔｕｍ Ｂｒａｉｎ（量子脳）、すなわち、脳（brain）であって、コンピューター・計算機ではなく、理性、知能、知性、感性等の『人間の精神活動』＝『意識』そのものを人工物化、具現化した『不死の人工知能』といえる。

５．ノイマン型コンピューター及び非ノイマン型コンピューターといった従来型の計算機が意識を持っているかのように振る舞ったからといって、それが意識を持つと言えない。
巷の学者連中はそれについて、
「意識が何なのか、意識があるのかないかは彼らの行動で判断するしかない。計算機やロボットにも同じことが当てはまる」
とか、
「何かを感じているかのように振舞うことをもって、それが何かを感じているとは断言できないと」
といったような終わりのない文系チックな議論を続けていることは、笑止としかいえない。
６．ノイマン型コンピューターや非ノイマン型コンピューターといった従来型の計算機も、これらの計算機によって制御されている限りロボットも、本当に意識がない限り、あたかも意識があるかのように説得力のある振る舞いをすることすらない。
表面的に、部分的にあたかも意識があるかのように制御するロボットが近頃開発されてはいるが、人間が自己の意識内で感じているだけに過ぎない。
７．Ｑｕａｎｔｕｍ Ｂｒａｉｎ（量子脳）を実現するＢＭＩ搭載意識駆動型バイオコンピューター（ＢＭＩ応用）が実行する知能活動は『脳の知能』そのものだ。プログラム駆動型のエミュレーションでも、シミュレーションでもない。
Ｑｕａｎｔｕｍ Ｂｒａｉｎ（量子脳）及びＢＭＩ搭載意識駆動型バイオコンピューターのが実行する知能の多くは、程度や規模はさておき、従来の計算機群を駆使すればエミュレーションレベルで可能だ。
８．Ｑｕａｎｔｕｍ Ｂｒａｉｎ（量子脳）を実現するＢＭＩ搭載意識駆動型バイオコンピューター（ＢＭＩ応用）の実行動作＝知能活動すべてが計算機でエミュレーションできたとしても所詮プログラムで事前に記述されたもの、単なるエミュレーターに過ぎず、意識が行っている将来に向かう精神活動（意思・意欲や思考、知性、心、自立心など）とは進化・自律という点で根本的に異質であり、模擬・物まねのレベルを超えない。
９．Ｑｕａｎｔｕｍ Ｂｒａｉｎ（量子脳）を実現するＢＭＩ搭載意識駆動型バイオコンピューター（ＢＭＩ応用）では、脳内の神経細胞にある微小管での、量子物理学レベル非計算機的な波動関数の収縮状態をＢＭＩ（神経接続素子で構成されるインターフェースＬＳＩ）で脳内全体からタイム・in situで検出し、後段の論理演算集積回路（汎用計算機のMPUやメモリ等）で定性·定量解析することで、意識の元となる基本的で単純な未知の属性情報を制生成するとと同時に、これらの属性情報を組み合わせてなる『生物の高レベルな意識』＝『脳の知能』を生成している。
