1. The disappearance or downfall of the nation of Japan is already underway

If the population dwindles to 70 million people (with an elderly population ratio of over 40%), it would be impossible to sustain the Japanese ethnicity in Japan, and the nation would swiftly descend into a death spiral of extinction and disappearance.
・Before the population declines to 70 million people (with an elderly population ratio of over 40%), the current model of mass-consumption capitalism will become unsustainable. Tax revenues will stagnate, and not only the national government but also local administrations at the prefectural, city, town, and village levels will freeze and face dysfunction. Naturally, the current lavish elderly welfare system will collapse. It's a crisis where there's no time to be taking care of the elderly, a crisis where there's no time to be indiscriminately spreading tax funds like water for elderly welfare. Japan is facing a crisis of national survival.
2. The Illusion of "Talent as the Core Support of Defense"
・In Japan's Ministry of Defense, as of 2023, efforts are finally being made to implement unmanned, personnel-reducing, and AI (software) utilization. However, there are limitations. Operations that require a certain number of personnel still exist, and disaster relief operations are a typical example. In the previous fiscal year, recruitment for self-defense officer candidates on a term-limited discharge system (aged 18-32) aimed at hiring approximately 9,000 candidates, but the number of recruits was less than half of the planned target.
