a. Unfortunately, Japan is already at its end. It is rapidly heading towards its demise. The younger generation should quickly establish a foothold abroad and seek refuge overseas.

Young people should work on developing skills and qualifications that are internationally applicable from an early age, starting from elementary school.

b. Over the 30-year period from 1990 to 2023, Japan, despite being an advanced nation, completely neglected measures against declining birthrates. As a result, the population has been rapidly declining since 18 years ago, and in the next 20 years (by 2043), the populations of regions like Shikoku and Kyushu will be wiped out.

c. Since the government's population predictions have never followed the median, lower predictions should be adopted. Moreover, due to excessive responses to the pandemic, marriages and childbirths have drastically decreased, accelerating the population decline by another 20 years. In other words, within the next 50 to 60 years (by 2070 to 2080), Japan's population will decrease linearly from 120 million to around 40 million. There is no turning back, and the possibility of population growth reversing is zero.

d. At this point, people aged 65 and above will account for nearly 50% (20 million people) of the population. Japan's politics, economy, and society will be in a dire state. Except for the 23 wards of Tokyo, Osaka City, and Yokohama City, other regional cities, municipalities, rural areas, and villages will deteriorate into limited regions with dysfunctional roads and public facilities, rendering them uninhabitable.

e. The following events suggest the causes of Japan's decline and downfall:

1. The economy doesn't improve.

There's a shortage of workforce, and foreign labor cannot be acquired.

2. Members of the Liberal Democratic Party and politicians pursue vested interests and personal gains, leading to a lack of national enthusiasm.

3. No emerging industries have led the Japanese economy since 1990 for 30 years.

4. The financial system tolerates a weaker yen more than any other country in the world.

5. The government's excessive and misguided responses to COVID-19, and favoritism towards specific companies.

6. Politicization, reluctance to change from maintaining the status quo and vested interests in the industrial sector.

7. Workers' wages are among the lowest in the OECD's 20 countries, stagnating at around 1,000 yen and not increasing.

8. Constant increase in taxes leads to continuous reduction of workers' take-home pay.

9. Manufacturing factories are relocated overseas.

10. Decreasing happiness levels every year.

11. Declining population, depopulation, ultra-aging, and the creation of terminal communities in rural areas.

12. Publicly built structures and facilities from the past cannot be maintained due to lack of funds.

13. Inadequate infrastructure development.

14. Aging population and declining population result in stagnant tax revenue.

15. Aging and declining population lead to stagnation in consumption.

16. Citizens focus on savings rather than consumption (most of Japan's savings are owned by the elderly).

17. Complete lag in IT adoption. Even self-proclaimed experts like Digital Minister Kohno do not understand the essence and disruptive power of IT.

18. Various government agencies, including the judiciary, still use seals and faxes.

f. If Japan doesn't experience its demise with all these factors, I'd like to hear the reasons why. While manufacturing has become almost fully automated and moved overseas, the service and food industries, which have become Japan's main industries, have not achieved automation.

g. Even now, the Self-Defense Forces consistently suffer from a significant shortage of personnel. Due to a lack of qualified officer candidates and intentional avoidance of domestic defense technology development, defense has fallen into a woeful state.

h. By the time you become elderly, there's a high probability that Japan will resemble the desolate world depicted in the anime "Fist of the North Star."

i. Please remember that these are predictions based on current trends, and the actual future could differ depending on various factors and actions taken by the government and society.
